PornX Theme Requirements

Below are the minimum and recommended requirements for using the PornX theme. Please read them carefully before installing the theme. Once you’re ready, check out our guide on how to install PornX.

The minimum requirements are necessary for all of the theme’s features to function, while meeting the recommended requirements will ensure a hassle-free setup process and minimize performance issues and limitations.

Minimum Requirements

  • The Mischievous Noble VPS, or an equivalent
  • A domain name
  • The latest version of WordPress
  • An active PornX theme license
  • An Apache or NGINX server
  • PHP 7.2
  • MySQL 5.7 or MariaDB 10.3
  • SSL certificate (HTTPS)

Recommended

  • The Blessed Elf VPS, or an equivalent
  • A domain name
  • A fresh WordPress installation
  • An Apache server
  • FFmpeg installed on the host OS
  • PHP 7.4
  • MySQL 5.7 or greater, or MariaDB 10.3 or greater
  • SSL certificate (HTTPS)

Server and PHP Requirements

The hosting server will also need to meet the following requirements for you to be able to install and use the theme.

  • cURL enabled and the libcurl library installed
  • ionCube for PHP CLI, version 12.0.3 or greater
  • PHP exec() function enabled

Disclaimers

License

Your PornX theme’s license will be issued under a single domain name without the ability to change it.

We cannot guarantee PornX’s functionality on local devices (localhost or 127.0.0.1). Thus, we recommend purchasing a license only if you have or intend on having a web server.

WordPress

To avoid any unexpected issues during the theme’s setup, we recommend installing the PornX theme on a fresh copy of WordPress. You can download the latest version from WordPress.org, or contact your hosting provider to do it for you.

Server Software

An Apache server is recommended for a quick and error-free setup. If you’re using an NGINX, please ensure that the mod_rewrite module is enabled, or contact your hosting provider to enable it for you.

In addition, the ionCube Loader for PHP CLI and the libcurl library must be installed on the server. Please get in touch with your hosting provider if you’re not sure how to add the aforementioned software.

Video Software

To allow direct uploads to play, FFmpeg will have to be installed on your host operating system. Embedded videos will run fine without it, though.

PHP

PHP 7.2 is the minimum requirement for the theme to work, while the 7.4 version is recommended for increased security. PHP 8.0 and newer versions are not supported at this time. Using any version under 7.2 or over 7.4 will limit your theme’s functionality and may result in errors.
