How Long Does It Take To Activate A Domain Name

A newly registered domain will typically become active within 24 hours. It may take longer in certain cases but all new domain names should be activated within 72 hours.

Please note that some country-specific domain names, such as .ru (Russia), .ir (Iran), .in (India), .uk (United Kingdom), .au (Australia), .de (Germany), can take longer to activate because they require you to submit a proof of citizenship.

If you are transferring an existing domain, the process may take up to 14 days. Please keep in mind that domains cannot be transferred within 90 days of purchase.

However, this does not mean that you cannot use the domain with your Vicetemple hosting service. To use an already registered domain with us, you’ll just need to update your nameservers.
